The Canarian writer Alberto Vazquez Figueroa, who after living between Morocco and the Sahara in his youth and fifteen years as special envoy in several African and South American countries, has set up residence in Lanzarote, gives us his vision of the island from a personal prespective

Alberto Vazquez Figueroa has authored more than forty books, among which include: Tuareg Ebony, Ocean, Yaiza, Maradentro, The dog, Viracocha, La Iguana, New Gods and the series Cienfuegos. Nine of his novels have been adapted to film.
